checking shaping rule

Hello,

On a Firewall Meraki,

Is there a simple way to check if a trafic shaping rule is matched and applied, like seeing some matching counters or seeing what flow is well matched ?

not using any sniffer/tcpdump   inside or outside of the box.

Regards,

Not really but what types of things are you trying to test/verify?  iperf and speedtest.net will work for most stuff.

hello Adam,

I want to check the rule is well applied just using a simple Meraki display (not using any sniffer-like, or another tool like IPERF).  Just using Meraki display.

Maybe there is a way to see how many time a traffic rule is matched.

On a security appliance, there is some hits counters for the firewall L3 rules.

On some Cisco product (not Meraki one's)  there is a display to show if the QoS is match/applied

example: show policy-map interface

The only rule I know of that shows hits/matches is Security Appliance>Firewall.  For traffic shaping stuff you just have to test.  Usually, I setup a flow preference to ensure my test is going through the right route.
