change mx of tenant

I have a problem, a client had another partner to manage his MX100. Currently we won the project to take over the administration, but the previous partner does not want to transfer the MX equipment to register it in our tenant, do you know how we can recover or transfer the equipment to our tenant?

You'll need to provide an invoice for it to Meraki to get it transferred.

Can they make you an administrator in the current tenant, and then you remove them (by agreement)?

ps. I've seen this happen before where the customer was using an MSP - and the customer did not own the equipment.  Of course, if the customer does not own the equipment the MSP is not going to gift it to you.
