can Intranet MX connect to an external LDAP server located in the outside?

Good day experts!

I have an MX64 working as an Intranet Firewall, it means: The outside interface is located in the Inside of another non-meraki Firewall.

We are trying to do some splash page from MX64 but the LDAP Server is located in a VLAN from the other FW (same net as the outside and the server). How can I trick the MX64 to find the server outside his LAN networks?

maybe an image would help, the VLAN 910 is an extended vlan for wireless access-points.

thank you

Kind of a big deal

That should work fine.  No tricks required.

Hi !

thanks! but it is giving me this error as a red banner:

There were errors in saving this configuration:

  • The IP address X.X.23.22 is not on a configured local subnet, nor a remote subnet on the VPN.

I'm sorry I had to add this in the main post but I forgot it. The WinServer is located in the WAN interface though.

thanks again.

Bummer.  Ok, you'll have to use RADIUS instead.
