Web Local Status Page

Hi

We have a user who constantly seems to have the Web Local Status Page displaying on her laptop (normally accessed via http://wired.meraki.com/). I'm not sure how she has managed to get this displayed but is there anyway of stopping this on her machine?

I know I can disable the Local Device Status page across the board (no sure what the disadvantages of doing this is) but just wandered if I could turn this setting off for the individual user?

Thanks

Lorna

No, you can't it's a global configuration.

Thanks for the quick response 😊 I just wandered how this individual machine is displaying this information automatically (without the user knowingly connecting to http://wired.meraki.com/). Whether she has perhaps clicked a setting that does this? No one else in our organisation sees this status page automatically.

If this doesn't happen to anyone else, it's something on the machine, there's nothing to do on Meraki's side other than disabling it globally as per the article sent.

Hi Lorna,

A local status page shouldn't pop up for a user out of nowhere unless they are browsing to the URL/IP or there's some setting on their device.

Do you have any splash pages? Or port authentication configured that could be directing to the local status page?
