VPN WAN to cellular failover - adjust convergence time/failover time (OeR/PfR capability)

Hi guys,

we are running MX67C-WW with a primary internet connection, as well as a 4G integrated backup connection.

We where testing the fail over capability as follows:

Test 1:  removing the network connection on the Meraki side of the LAN segment between Meraki and the DSL router facing the internet.

--> Results in pretty instant failover to the 4G connections, within roughly 11-15 seconds, which is "good enough" for our operation. Probably the Meraki picks up the link down situation and reacts promptly.

Test 2:  removing the DSL routers DSL facing PPPoE connection, to test an upstream router failure past the DSL router (DSLAM issue, provider routing issue, physical last mile issue, router interface issue)

--> Results in and around a 5 minute convergence / failover.

Is there any user configurable way, to adjust this to a more aggressive time / timer value / hold down ?

thanks

Colin

No...

What is "No" referring to?

There is no way to do this.
