Switch can not connect to Radius Server over S2S VPN

Hallo,

I've Switches Managed in VLAN 1. and a S2S VPN connection between 2 Sites. At the Customer site there is the Radius Server. Now my question.

VLAN 1 must be in VPN Mode disabled otherwise i lose connectivity to the Switches.

Is it necessary that the Switches reach the Radius Server wich is at the other site from the VPN.

thanks for your ideas/help

René

See if you can use the alternate  management interface. https://documentation.meraki.com/MS/Other_Topics/Alternate_Management_Interface_on_MS_Devices

The other option is:

That vlan1 needs to be " in vpn".

Then you need to understand why do the switches lose connectivity?

Because of firewall rules? A default route in the vpn? No routing back to your subnet?

oh it works. I've changed the VLAN 1 in VPN Mode enabled and all is fine. last time i did this it was not working... Maybe I had 2 issues... 1st. VPN Mode.. Private Network missed last time and I've had a static route which was not recuired. all is fine now 🙂
