Security behind Z3

Hi All,

We have Z3 Devices used by Teleworker users. But how we make sure that Security is not compromised.

I understand that Meraki Z3 does split tunneling which means only the traffic which is destined for the other VPN site it will go rest it will follow the default route and go via the local WAN link which is on the Meraki Z3.

But how we make sure that Security remains intact. Meraki Z3 does not have the AMP - Anti Malware Protection.

Please suggest or advise. However, at our Headoffice MX84, we do have Advance Security License.

You would be best to combine it with Cisco Umbrella.

@PhilipDAth  Is there any document which explains how to integrate Z3 with Cisco Umbrella. I was trying to test the same but no luck. Not sure how to configure it.

in the DHCP there is an option of use an umbrella is that enough?

You could simply use the DHCP option to resolve DNS queries via Umbrella, yes. On the other hand, you would have no control over its features then. You would simply rely on its most basic security level.

When trying to configure it: do you have an active Umbrella subscription, or (at least) a trial running?
