RDS Gateway Apps Fail over VPN to China

We have a Site to Site VPN (HUB) which runs between NY (MX100) and China (MX84). I can use Remote Desktop Connection from China to directly connect to any server or workstation on the NY network. We also have a remote access gateway configured which we access from a webpage. We can connect to the RDS gateway and receive the RDS desktop with the published apps, but when we attempt to run any of the apps, the launching fails. I checked the site to site VPN config (below) an all ports appear to be open. Any guidance would be appreciated. thank you.

This will almost certainly be an RDP gateway configuration issue.  Perhaps the published FQDN being used is not resolving or not resolving to an IP address that runs over the VPN.
