Public IP address of MX
Hello
How do you configure a Public IP address for the MX, if there is nothing between it and the cloud? Right now I am testing one, and it's Public IP is the firewall we have in place. I understand how to give the WAN and IP, but not how to configure the Public IP.
Thanks

You can only configure the wan1 and wan2 ports at your uplink settings this can be a public or private address, but it needs a route to the internet.
The public ip meraki displays is the wan ip meraki dashboard sees from the cloud (your firewall).
If you have a additional public subnet routed to your mx wan you can use 1:1 nat to use it. https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/NAT_and_Port_Forwarding/Port_Forwarding_and_NAT_Rules_on_the_MX#...

Thanks for the info. So if I configure WAN 1 as 123.456.789.012, then when I go into the Meraki cloud console I will see that IP as the Public IP for the MX?
