Powering an MX from 12VDC

I need to put an MX into a marine application that only has 12VDC and 24VDC available.  The MX64 uses a 12VDC input.

Before I go to the effort to test this - has anyone else already done this?

Hi Philip, yes, with an auto battery 12VDC as long as it's able to provide 30W at that voltage (2.5A) and I'd use maybe a 5A inline fuse on the positive lead.
