Possible to block website’s 3rd party ads on websites?

I have users on our network who access various sites like radio stations, sports pages, etc that are hosting 3rd party ads on their sites. Some are creating fake security popup messages indicating their virus protection has expired and they have an infected system. Lots of variations of that theme.

While the sites themselves are not an issue usually, is there a way through Meraki to block 3rd party advertising integration in those websites? If so, can anyone give me some direction as to how? Thank you.

With adv sec license you can use content filter categories.

You can also block urls manually.

There are also pre defined add block lists on internet that you can put in manually

Meraki doc:

Personally, I always block every single threat category in Content Filtering.  This approach has worked well for me.
