Physical connections for MX in passthrough mode

Hi

I'm looking for the physical connection that has to be done when placing an MX in Passthrough mode.

I have in mind that it should be Internet 1 and 1rst lan port, but I'm having difficulties finding the answer in Doc.

So is it the right connections design

Also: so I think that the MX will get a dhcp from the Edge router, if configured so on its Internet 1 port ?

thanks,

Hi @Jeizzen , your uplink port to your edge Router will be in the Internet 1 port and you can use any LAN link to connect back to your network.

DHCP will come from your Router (if configured).

I’m sure you’ve read this document  on best practices for MX and SD-WAN

In my case Meraki MX WAN is directly connected to ISP and LAN to another vendor firewall.

Meraki MX is kept in passthrough mode.

Another vendor firewall connected to Meraki MX need an interface IP. How can I assign IP for Meraki MX LAN port when in passthrough mode.
