Moving all Meraki equipment to new branch office and ISP

Hello,

Our Meraki MX64W appliance and MR33 access point are being moved to a new branch office tomorrow.  We're also changing internet service providers, so our primary IP address and block of IP addresses will also change.  We have an existing BOVPN between our three offices and all offices are using Meraki equipment, so all are managed through the Meraki web app.

I am taking the equipment out of the old office tonight, and will start installing it in the new office tomorrow.

What is the best way to move the MX64W and MR33 to our new branch office location?  A link to the proper documentation would be great and much appreciated.

Thank you,

JimR

Hi Jim,

This looks like more or less Plug and Play.

I believe you are moving the devices physically. This means we need no changes on the Dashboard.

We simply need to make sure the MX64W is live (connected to Direct Internet - with no Firewall) at your new branch office.

You may follow this thread on - How to configure the IP Address.

https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/Other_Topics/Static_IP_Assignment

Rest of the configuration is already there in the cloud - Your Branch Office should be live.
