Meraki VPN not working via Group Policy

We are replacing our ASA with a Meraki MX84 and it' snot going well.

I've deployed a VPN connection via Group Policy which connects and authenticates correctly.

However traffic cannot get onto the network - we can't ping anything beyond the Meraki device


Manually configuring a VPN with identical settings and the connection works fine


As it's remote to me It's being installed by a 3rd party and this is their 4 visit.  I'm being told that something in the Policy must be preventing access however the policy is very straightforward and certainly no option to prevent access to the LAN has been enabled.


Anyone experienced anything similar?
