Meraki MX67 License Upgrade

Hello team,

We are a Cisco distributor from Greece. A partner of ours has a client who has an MX67 with 5 year enterprise license.

This particular license ends in 2025. He wants to upgrade to 5 year Advanced Security License.

My question is how can the extra cost be calculated since the Advanced License is more expensive than the enterprise license?

Do you need a Serial Number of the MX or can we take into consideration this: GPL Price of the Advanced Security License minus the GPL Price of the Enterprise License?

Should i send this to licensing@meraki.com? Your advice will be much appreciated.

Thank you,

The conversion can be done by support (or the mentioned licensing team). If I remember right, the remaining license time will be cut in half as the Advanced Security license is twice as expensive as the Enterprise license.

@ptsakalos the calculation mentioned by @KarstenI is correct, if you have 1200 days remaining on the enterprise license, this will change to 600 days of advanced license.

Hi @ptsakalos , as pointed out, email the license team and they’ll issue a new adv lic out to you.  We’ve done this a few times and is pretty painless.
