Meraki MX Firmware Auto Upgrading

Dear Community,

I have one question, why Cisco Meraki MX default cannot auto upgrade automatically to the latest stable version?
Note: those Meraki MX is binding to template network, and we notice that it is not automatically upgrade to the latest stable version as docs mentions, it can auto upgrading to the first build only like: 15.42.1 and the latest version stable is 15.42.3.
Please kindly advise,

Thanks, BEST Regards,
Makara(Mr.)

@MakaraMEAS the auto upgrade only upgrades when the existing version becomes unsupported, it takes it to the oldest currently supported version.  I don't know why it is set to do this, but we upgrade to newer versions soon after they are released so it has never become an issue.

@cmr It is the new onboard Meraki MX, it should automatic upgrade to the latest stable version.
Anyway if we set scheduling every initialize MX from network template it is fine to upgrade, but we cannot do this every onboard MX, it doesn't make sense.
