Meraki License

Hi All,

just noticed , we can not mix licenses in an organization. for eg. if we are ordering 10 MX  it has to be all sd-wan Plus or all advanced security or enterprise.

now how the organization makes a difference, does it have any impact on auto VPN or SDWAN functionality i.e MX in one organization will form auto VPN with MX in different organization or not. is the organization parameter playing any role in auto VPN.

Yep, never liked this limitation with the inability to mix MX licenses.

As previously pointed you can’t build auto-VPNs between different Orgs. You can however of course build old skool site to site VPNs.

Might take some planning on how you build this one out.  Or, if your Meraki is feeling generous they can seriously discount so you can get the same licenses across the board.

Hi,

Auto VPN is only available to MXs in the same organisation. Here is some background:

Note that Auto VPN is available at all licence levels.
