MX84 master and spare for just 1 ISP only.

Good day,

I have 2 mx84, as well as 1 ISP. Can anyone share the setup's entire configuration? Now that my main FW is operating properly, I am unable to set up my spare FW.

Will it work on 1 ISP only?

Thank you~

One ISP is no problem at all as long as you have a /29 network assigned.

If you don't have, there was just a discussion this week:

@Lucas_T  as explained by @KarstenI  you need a /29 network assigned, If you wnat configure public IP on WAN interfaces.

The only way to use the same public IP is using a NATed IP. Take a look at my example, I only have a single public IP, but my wan interface is configured with a private IP, i.e. it's behind a NAT.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.
