MX84 and MX210-24P connection

Hello team,

1) A partner of ours asks if he can connect 2 x MX84-HW with 2 x MS210-24P-HW via fiber optic? I believe it can but can you confirm it?

If yes, the part numbers for the SFPs on both sides are 4 x MA-SFP-1GB-SX, correct?

2) The same partner wants to stack 2 x MS210-24P-HW. The part numbers for stacking are 2 x MA-CBL-40G-50CM, or 2 x MA-CBL-40G-1M, correct?

Thanks a lot guys!

hi @ptsakalos

1 - Yes, the MX84 has 2 x SFP ports on the LAN side

Yes - those SFP's will work fine

2 - dependant on how far apart your switches are those stacking cables will work.
