MX67 PPPoE and Bell TV PVR

Hello,

1st post - hope this is OK.

Wondering if anyone has managed to get a Bell PVR up and running with the MX67 (or similar).

I set up ISP 'modem' with DMZ.  Internet worked but IPTV though PVR only displayed any given channel for a few seconds.

As a result have gone to the PPPoE setup. ( Inspired by this post https://community.meraki.com/t5/Security-SD-WAN/MX65-with-Bell-Home-Hub-3000-HH3000-PPPoE-Passthroug... )  Again internet works on all devices with the exception of the PVR which opens on a static splash/welcome page - no inputs possible; no TV; no recording.

Kind of a big deal

I've used it with another IPTV service and it worked without any problems.

Do you have any content filtering or AMP configured on MX?

Is there any possibility that your provider is blocking it?

Thanks for your reply.  All suggestions are welcomed.

As for content filtering, that particular device/ MAC address is whitelisted to ensure no rules interfere.

No AMP

The TV service is available as an app and is working on tablet, its just the PVR/Settop box that is not.

This seems to be a problem with the device. Have you tried testing this on another network?

Thank you

PVR device works on this network if MX appliance is removed and ISP modem is doing the DHCP.

It works with MX only in Passthru mode.  That prevents VLANS and routing which is required.

It also works on another network

thanks

Partial fix/50$ Work around : Fire TV stick installed with Bell App installed - recordings redirected to the cloud.  Makes me wonder why I still had a PVR.  Still curious as to how to get the PVR device to read the same signal, but all is working without it.  Hopefully this helps someone else with legacy systems planning MX install.

Also discovered product label during removal:

PVR model: ARRIS 4K

and for posterity, bypassed ISP modem/router model is: HH3K
