MX64W suddenly throwing "xtra: no_offers_received, vap: 0, vlan: 1"

Out of the blue my Ring Doorbell started going offline. When I look in the log I see the error - xtra: no_offers_received, vap: 0, vlan: 1

There are plenty of addresses available. Nothing had changed leading up to it. That is the only device on my network that is having the error. Any ideas what is causing this and how to fix it?

Yup first thing I looked at 🙂

The error code shows it was attempting to grab an IP in VLAN 1. Is that the correct VLAN of the SSID that the Ring doorbell is connected to?

Yes it is. There were 30+ devices on the 2.4Ghz Meraki support suggested it could be a congestion problem. I had the 5 Ghz radio turned down to very low power. When I turned it back to Auto it seemed to resolve. Now waiting to see if it stays resolved.

Funny thing, once the Ring Doorbell was off of the network, the issue resolved itself. I was seeing the issue on the doorbell as well as other devices.
