MX64W - Is it possible to disable WiFi and only use Ethernet?

I wish to completely disable WiFi on my MX64W AP.

I have tried Configure > Wireless settings and then disabling all configured SSID's. But this didn't seem to physically disable the WiFi functionality of the device.

Is what I am trying to achieve possible?

Can you turn the physical radios off? No.

That does not sound correct. We have an MX65W, not 64W with Wireless turned off. Nothing is broadcasting. However, there is a bug that when wireless is enabled it will broadcast a Mesh SSID(ticket has been open for months regarding this).

Security & SD-WAN -> (configure) Wireless Settings : and disable all the SSIDs

I have found a solution to my issue. I unscrewed both antennas on my device. This effectively killed the wifi. Plus I stopped the broadcast by disabling SSID.

RF meter readings suddenly dropped.

Wrap it several times with aluminium foil too 😃
