MX450 at 95% utilization all the time. We only have like 1000 max clients at once.

I'm confused as to why my MX450, which should be a beast of a firewall, is bogged max at 95% UT. Small campus with 750 students, 50 teachers, cameras, card access, nothing that the 450 shouldn't be able to do. Its frustrating since we pay so much for the product and licensing, and Meraki dashboard won't even tell me the source of the high utilization! I just wanted to ask you guys before I open a ticket if this is a common occurrence, possibly a bad firmware update, or if there is usually a reason for this poor performance. The only client that is moving tons of data locally is our camera server which is routing approx. 150 mb/sec, in other words, nearly a terabyte of data per day. but surely the MX450 cant be dying from that load, when its rated for 7gbps with security!

7gbps on a MX450 is impossible to reach. The MX will die way before that. We can't reach 2gbps , the limit is PPS.

What firmware are you using ? There is a couple one that fixes high device utilization
