You'd might want to get in touch with your ISP and have them check logs on their end, and see what might have gone wrong. Normally the MX doesn't have problems with DHCP, but it's not uncommon that it won't get a lease for various reasons. In my experience it's sometimes a hit and miss.
If the MX has been connected for some time and been unssucessful in getting an address, it might just stop trying. Then a power cycle or WAN connection reseat might be neccessary.
