MX warm spare failovers today

At about 12PM EST it appears that all MX pairs running 17.9 globally had a fail-over event. VPN tunnels bounced. These are multiple devices across the US in different states and different ISPs.  There is a similar thread going on Reddit.  Does anyone know what happened?

Possibly some changes made in the back end. Hopefully some official can provide an update / acknowledgement.

This also affected me, all of our devices in HA failed at the same time. Most are on 17.9 but a few are using 17.8.

Approximately 17:00 UK time they all failed over. I have a case open regarding this and the first response suggested we lost WAN connectivity, but I confirmed that this was not the case.

We had the same as well, all 17.9 HA pairs failed over and back, but our one pair stuck on 16.16.3 stayed put...
