MX showing Unreachable but network is working.

MX showing Unreachable but network is working.

I saw one of our MX67s give a bad internet connection and then go unreachable. But the whole site has no issues reaching out to the internet or getting to anything across VPNs. Why is it showing unreachable if everything is working fine?

 

Current version: MX 16.16
Upgrading to: MX 17.10.2

Have you tried to perform a reboot?

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

This is on an MX (firewall). A reboot would bring the whole network down. We are looking for an option that will not impact all operations.

The update is going to have an impact, and you don't do it during production hours, right?
