MX datasheet speeds don't match MX Sizing Principles

Looking at the throughout speeds (excluding Adv Sec features) of MX105 in the datasheet and the MX Sizing Principles, they seem to be different - 3Gbps on the datasheet and 5Gbps on the sizing guide.

Does anyone know why that's the case and what's a realistic throughput to expect from MX105?

For context, customer has MX105 and looking to upgrade to a 5Gb line as long as the MX105 can deal with those speeds.

Hi ,

The network performance benchmarks listed in the KB are target numbers based on initial testing and can change on further testing.

https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/MX_Overviews_and_Specifications/MX95%2F%2F105_Datasheet

Thoses number are prior to firmware MX 18.2

So if you are running MX 18.2++ you are getting the numbers from : https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/MX_Sizing_Information/MX_Sizing_Principles

I view it more as maximum under ideal circumstances on the datasheet.
The sizing guide uses EMIX which is a better test anyway.

With some tuning you can get speeds between the advanced security throughput and the full throughput if you leave out some categories of the IPS.
