MX Device losing Network

Afternoon,

I have a MX Device located in Munich and it keeps losing network from a Vodafone router the client is blaming the MX Device and i am thinking its the Vodafone router.

Logs from Vodafone Router are as below, anybody come across the same issue. The MX Device seems to come back online after a reboot customer has wifi coming from Vodafone Router that is constant hence thinking it's the MX my feeling is the ports are being disconnected on the Vodafone Router ?

@Justin1104 what MX device is this?  The logs you have given above all relate to WiFi traffic, not to the WAN port of an MX firewall.

The device is a MX84 although we swapped it to a MX65 to see if the issue was the MX but have same issue.

MX Logs are as below

Do you have speed and duplex hard coded on the WAN port?  Vodafone in the UK always set them so auto-negotiation doesn't work properly...

Hi,

This for a Router located in Germany, I do have access to the router but cannot see access to change the settings you have mentioned.

This sounds pretty much like an issue I just experienced a couple months ago where the firewall in question kept looking to a NAT statement for our HUBs to another territory. Had to remove the NAT statement and then the firewall was able to keep online and no more carrier change.

The Ethernet is going up and down.  You could try a different cable.  If the Vodafone router has more ports you could try another port.  You need to confirm the speed/duplex the Vodafone router is configured for.
