MX Dashboard Throughput versus MS is significantly different

I'm struggling to understand why our MS-225 has a significantly slower "Dashboard Throughput" speed versus the MX85 that it's connected to. When I test on the MX, it gets a consistent 490+Mbps speed which is accurate for our WAN link, however when doing the same test from the switch (Tools-Dashboard Throughput), it's roughly 12-15Mbps. 

The Uplink configuration on the MX-traffic Shaping is set to 400MB/sec and the ports are set to Auto negotiate (1Gbps). We've swapped out network cables to no avail. Is this just normal or are we missing something?

Throughput test to the Cisco Meraki Dashboard

This tool can be run from any Meraki device that is currently connected to the Cisco Meraki cloud. This live tool is designed to test the speed of communication between the device and Dashboard. It is not meant to accurately test the speed an Internet/WAN link is capable of.

You are testing from a device with a very small CPU that is not built to generate and receive large amounts of traffic. IMO, this test is entirely meaningless on internal devices.

This is the answer.  You are measuring a difference in CPU performance, not Internet performance.

Thanks all. I understand that it's not a "true" speed test, just a little strange and disconcerting when the numbers are so very different. I wanted to make sure that's it's not unexpected for the speeds to vary that much between devices.
