MX 250 HA Pair DHCP issue on version 16.16

Hello everyone,

We currently have a DHCP issue on our MX 250 when upgrading from version 14.53 to 16.16.
When on version 14.53  clients get the IP from DHCP server which is the MX,  but when upgrading to 16.16 they get the APIPA adress. Downgrading back to 14.53 clients receive their IP as usual and no APIPA.

Is there anyone that has a similiar issue and has some input on this?

Do you have any dhcp  snooping / dhcp blocking in you lan? At some point the mx vrrp started using another mac address for dhcp

I haven't seen that issue.

We don't have anything blocking on dhcp.

We don't use vrrp so that is not the issue.
All clients get this issue when trying to reconnect to the MXs dhcp server.
