MX 18.207 on MX67 local status page bug with workaround

Hi everyone,

I have encountered a small bug on the new release candidate firmware MX 18.207.

On an MX67 which does not have the cellular modem I have encountered a recurring bug on the local status page if you try to save on that page.

I needed to assign a static WAN IP address to an MX67 to sit behind an ISP router. While this normally works perfectly on any firmware this MX had been updated to MX18.207 to test the new firewall logging tool feature (which is very nice).

However when trying to save the IP you get an error:

The solution is to simply go to the Access Point Name Configuration and click on Use Meraki Dashboard settings.

Then it will take any configuration you put at the IP settings as long as they don't violate any networking rules of course.
The setting will revert to override but that doesn't matter in  this case.
