Logs displaying whacky date and times

When I search the logs in the security appliance event logs, the events display in the correct date and time. If I export my search the date changes from 15/08/2023 to 01/08/2015 and 01/08/2014. I am not sure what is happening here. Any help would be appreciated thank you.

The event log retention is just 12 months.

I am searching from 15/08/2023. That is less than 2 months ago. When I export it to an excel document and open it, the dates are then displayed as 01/08/2014. Which I did not search for logs from 2014, I searched for logs from 2023. I am wondering if this is a Meraki bug?

I suggest you to open a support case.

Did you fix this issue. I am facing the same, but I think is related to the Date&time settings in Meraki (MMM DD) and personal laptop.

Per example the below when exported to CSV will show July/2013 while it is 13 July.

Tried and same thing. Looks like a bug to me - while it create the .csv file. Would suggest to open a support case.

Getting noticed

Did you get anywhere with this? I appreciate I am reopening a 12+ month old thread, but I am having the same problem and don't see a fix anywhere online.

I've tried formatting the cells in Excel as custom mmm dd hh:mm:ss as it appears on screen in the event log, however all the dates then revert to the first of the month in which they occurred.

In my case I am exporting a months worth of event log, so am looking back to the 30th September. When I format as described above, events which occured on the 30th September in the event log now appear as the 1st September which is not correct.
