How to manage Meraki Go GX50 Router Firewall Plus without internet connection

Hello, 

Not sure this is the correct forum as I did not see one for Routers...

I am brand new to the Meraki world.  We recently purchased a 'Meraki Go GX50 Router Firewall Plus' to replace our old Netgear FVS336Gv3 VPN-Firewall Router.  We want to use our test LAN to pre-configure the GX50 so that when we place it into the our production environment, most of the configurations are done.

Question: Is there a way to manager (via the Dashboard or something else) without have an internet connection.

< As the Dashboard is cloud driven and would require an internet connection, we where hoping that there was a built in web-base configuration tool - Like what the Netgear 336 has.

Short answer, no.

But, you will be happy to learn that you should be able to plug the WAN side of the GX50 into any active LAN port on your existing network and then make whatever configuration changes through the cloud app/web interface. 

And yes this is the wrong forum 🙂 there is a Meraki-Go forum somewhere. This is the “regular Meraki” forum and a common mistake. Because who would know they are different things, right?
