Hi all,
Writing to see if anyone else has experienced this issue at their organization.
Recently, we've been getting these Google Search CAPCHAs pretty frequently when user's perform Google searches during the day. While it isn't every single Google search, it is frequent enough to be noticeable.
Google Support claims that this issue occurs when it detects "Bot-like" behavior or suspects automated searches are being performed. The only issue is that we don't have any bots on our network, or any services that are sending automated searches to Google.
This issue has occurred with at least three of our sites, with the higher-user base site experiencing the issue more frequently. So far, I have separated out the clients with the highest data transfer for Google Services, while they are quite high, they are not automated, and I don't believe they would be causing this issue.
Meraki Support has been very helpful so far and has suggested we track down the root of the issue within the network with regard to the Google Searches, however I am not seeing anything out of the ordinary so far.
We are not utilizing any VPNs on the network, nor is the issue related to malware on the computers.
Here is the Google Support Document regarding this issue: Resolve Google Search’s "Unusual traffic from your computer network" message - Google Search Help
