Devices in China

I’m new to Meraki China, we already have devices in the ROW. Ive setup a Meraki china login and created an organization plus added a license for a device. Now the question when I plug the device into the internet in Shanghai how does it know to connect to Meraki china and not ROW ?

I don't know the answer - but I do know the units in China ship with different firmware.  Perhaps if it doesn't have this firmware on first connect it will grab it.

No idea. But I like where @PhilipDAth is going with this. I could see it grabbing new firmware once it's claimed into the China Dashboard...  No idea if that's true or not.

I found this reference about minimum firmware versions required to be able to use kit on the China cloud.
