Content Filtering by Category not working

We are trying to apply a group policy on our MX450, which will content filter by category.  I have all categories blocked except two for testing purpose, and applied it to an AD group where I am the only member.  Confirmed my client is also set to the policy.  If I put in block url pattern, the url is blocked, but otherwise I am still able to access all sites.


Firmware version is  MX 16.16

Hi @Rhys80 , could you please share the configuration of your group policy and integration with AD?

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Try logging out and back in again to produce a fresh event log entry on the AD controller.

 

Does the AD controller Audit Log show you login in even (otherwise you may need to adjust your audit policy).
