Is it possible to do dhcp on client vpn subnet?
Go to Solution.
The address are dynamically allocated from the pool you specify, and you can configure DNS and WINs servers to use, but that is it.
Thanks. When you say pool, you mean the host ranges from the VPN subnet mask?
Im using 192.168.50.0 /24
From this address range:
Ok, so my Client VPN subnet is 192.168.50.0 /24
So I would get 254 hosts with ranges 192.168.50.1 - 192.168.50.254
Also speaking of VPN. Right now, I have my company DNS servers for VPN. Is it a good idea to add public DNS such as 126.96.36.199?
If you are using active directory you should only be using the internal AD controllers for DNS.
