BGP Community support on Meraki

Good morning!

Does anyone know whether Meraki will be implementing support for BGP communities?

Ideally I was hoping to set a BGP community to routes advertised via VPNs towards the VPN concentrator /Hubs.

For example, from a site, routes via the primary VPN set a BGP community of 1000:1, and routes via the Secondary VPN to 2000:1.

This will then allow me to manipulate routing within the core network by matching BGP communities.

Thanks in advance.

Kind of a big deal

I believe you will need to contact support, and have them enable the BGP Beta feature for you, then you should be able to see configuration options for it.

Pssst! @NolanHerring, there's no mention of BGP communities in that doc 😞

I think the best solution will be to set the community on the peer that the VPN concentrators are attached to (aka, when your core devices are receiving the routes).
