AnyConnect - User cannot connect after authentication.

Can anyone shed any light on why this user cannot connect and gets this error message displayed.

The the event log just show this

 Session disconnected. Session Type: SSL, Duration: 0d:00h:03m:07s, Bytes xmt: 0, Bytes rcv: 0, Reason: User Requested

Turns out someone had installed a version of AnyConnect from 2012!

Installing the latest version resolved the issue.
