17.10.9 showing as critical in the dashboard

Despite being the latest r17 release and only being released on the 18th of August!

Not sure that's right....

End of Support for the 17.x train was Aug 31, 2023. The final patch .9 resolved a few high priority bugs.

There are presumably no more 17.x releases to come and 18.x was promoted to stable back in May I think.

You can continue to run MX 17, but the recommendation is move to MX 18.107.2 >.

I don't make the rules. Just trying to explain why MX 17 is marked as critical now. https://documentation.meraki.com/General_Administration/Firmware_Upgrades/Managing_Firmware_Upgrades...

However most of my MXs are HA pairs, so 18.x isn't an option...

I think r17 eol needs to be recalculated!

MX18 works on HA pairs. Maybe you have some specific case I'm not aware of?

The bug mentions very specific conditions under which that may occur. Not sure that warrants a blanket can't upgrade to MX18 stance. The thread mentioned leaves out a lot of detail and can be misleading IMO.

That's one case that it would be cool to see the related bugID,  but that's not coming.

Is it definitely only MX95s?  If so then I'd agree and may be time to upgrade the HA pairs.

I don't think it's model specific. More config/enabled features dependent.
