interesting question and I too am interested in the answer.
also, I had trouble with wifi 5 802.11 ac devices connecting on the lower range of the 5mhz speed until I changed the radio settings to dual band with band steering , then I was able to connect my wifi 5 devices at 433mbits in stead of 6mbits to 54mbits (typically the lower).
