Optional security subscription did not pass test use case.

Hi

I purchased and installed the optional security key on my fox-50.

Logged out and let it run for a while.

Logged back in And saw the security control options.

Set the security to max policy.

Logged out.

Waited 30 minutes.

Went to a laptop on my network and was able to go to porn sites.

The security subscription does not appear to work.

Do I need to change the dns in the network settings to make this work?

Please advise.

I opened a ticket and was asked to provide screen shots.

 
went out to eat and when I came back, everything worked.

don’t know if something on the back end needed to be kicked or if just time was needed for this feature to function.

anyway…it works now.

only thing spooky is that it blocks  apple.com and iCloud.con.  So I had to put in a url exclusion.
