Connecting multiple switches

Is there a recommended topology for connecting multiple switches? I saw from another thread that switch stacking is not supported.

I currently have one 24 port switch and I'm looking to add two more 48 port ones. Is it better to daisy chain them via the SFP ports, or to have one switch act as the core switch?

I don't think it would matter per say, since the links are all 1gig. More of a preference of how you want it setup.
