Are the subscriptions per device or per account?

If I get a meraki Go router and 1 or 2 access points, do I need to buy the subscription service for content filtering three times or just once? If I have to buy it 3 times, can I just buy it for the router and have content filtering for my whole network? Or is it really the best to buy the router and access points from somewhere else?

In your described setup..I am assuming your “router “ is either a gx50 of gx20

the security subscription is for 1 security device on the account, which topically serves the whole wireless/wired  network.

if a lot of users with a lot of local video  and local file sharing activity , you might want to consider a gs-110 switch.

putting extensive local video and local file sharing activity on a switch , with one connection to your gx device would keep local video and file sharing activity out of the management of the gx device since the peer to peer on your local network would be handled by the switch.
