Switch recomendation

Hi All

This isn't Meraki related but I want to tap into the pool of talent here. Can anyone recommend a unmanaged switch that supports VLAN passthru. I am not sure if this is even a thing as a Google search hasn't provided much.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know the anwer.

This switch says it supports 802.1p (QoS).  802.1p requires an 802.1q frame format to work.  It's unmanaged, so I'm thinking that for it to be able to do 802.1p, it must be just passing the tagged frames through.

This switch also mentions 802.1p.

I'm not aware of any... does it have to be an unmanaged switch?

You can get some cheap desktop switches (Netgear, TP-Link etc.) that can be initially setup via their little web portal then left to do its thing.

The Netgear GS116 and TP-Link TL-SG116 are solid options worth considering, as they mention 802.1p support. If you don’t mind exploring managed switches, they can give you more control over VLANs.
