Meraki in the wild - time to brush off those detective skills...

OK, come on, who else gets a kick out of seeing a Meraki AP or camera in the wild? I'll confess the novelty hasn't worn off for me, even after almost 7 years of being associated with the brand.

Here's one of my recent ones, spotted in a pub in London earlier this month...

Seen any Meraki gear out in the wild lately?

Panera in the US, pretty much all day every day. My partner likes to make fun of me because I'll whip around and try to identify the model of the AP.

Not necessarily a Meraki in the wild but an old school MR12 that we replaced at a customer.

I always get into trouble for playing the IT vendor game. Usually its when we are on holiday and she wonders why I am staring at the ceiling.

I have a friend whos an electrician, they play a similar game called " I wonder how many watts all these lights are combined"

@BrechtSchamp That's the only time I got to use that thing. I took it home and it was promptly expropriated by my wife. You can now find it on my wife's side of the couch shared between her and my two dogs.

@MeredithW Go ahead and make mine public 🙂

We built a temporary WiFi network for a fireworks festival held at a small, rural airport.  This allowed ticket agents at each gate to scan incoming tickets.  This particular access point was located 1/2 mile from the next WAP and was powered by a portable generator.
