SD-WAN Feature and HA

Hi!

I want to ask if I want to use MX250 and purchase only Enterprise license, I still can use SD-WAN Feature and auto failover between WAN right?

And for HA, do I need only 1 license for both MX250 or need to purchase 2 licenses for both MX250 so both can act as HA?

Thank you in advance for your response!

Hi @Ash24 , you only need a single license for an MX HA pair.  SD-WAN will also failover to secondary WAN should your Primary link fail.

Review the SD-WAN licensing tiers here:

Yes, advanced adds intrusion prevention etc. which is a good idea for internet facing devices and SD-WAN+ has great extras if the site uses a lot of SaaS services from the cloud.
