Meraki Warranty, is it include?

Hi All,

I order cisco meraki MX & MS series without any service like 'CON-ROB-XXX'. Is it possible to me for do RMA? because if I check this link: https://documentation.meraki.com/General_Administration/Other_Topics/Returns_(RMAs)%2C_Warranties_an..., the warrany cover period is lifetime.

Thank You!

If the product is within the warranty period and Meraki Technical Support determines that the product is faulty, an RMA can be performed.
"Cisco Meraki RMA Only Service" (e.g. CON-ROB-XXX) is an option to enhance the quality of RMA.
In order for Meraki Technical Support to determine that a product is a faulty product, a license is virtually required to make an inquiry.

Hi,

Thanks for your info, how are we know that our devices are within the warranty period?

Could you give me a link/reference for statement "Cisco Meraki RMA Only Service" (e.g. CON-ROB-XXX) is an option to enhance the quality of RMA? it is very helpful for me for documentation.

Thank You in Advance!

Basically, if they are still working - they are covered, because when your licence runs out they stop forwarding traffic.  You can look at the licence page in your dashboard to see the current expiry date.

Google found this info on the RMA only option.

I have previously contacted Meraki Technical Support to confirm the recognition of the RMA.

The aforementioned is a summary of that conversation.

Unfortunately, I don't know of any tools to check the warranty period (Not the license period).

The standard RMA seems to ship a replacement unit within one business day in the best case.

In the Japanese distributor's information, I also saw a description of next-business-day shipping.

By comparison, the "Cisco Meraki RMA Only Service" offers a choice of service levels for shipping time and on-site support.

Note: Meraki Now = Cisco Meraki RMA Only Service

Please message me your serial numbers and I can look them up for you. Do you have active licenses on the products?
