MR36 Alerting - Ethernet uplink speed degraded.

Hi I am a newbie to Meraki, used to look after HPE Aruba's.  Please can this community shed any thoughts on this.  The Alerting I find is a great heads up,  with this error pointing is it pointing to physical network infrastructure?  Help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Ashley

Kind of a big deal

Generally yes this is a physical issue with the cabling in most cases. Meraki APs that link at 100mbps will show this error. If you have an MS switch you can use the cable test tool to get an idea of whats wrong with the cable: https://documentation.meraki.com/MS/Monitoring_and_Reporting/Using_the_Cable_Test_Live_tool

In theory it's possible for the AP or the switch to be damaged but that's less likely and you can verify by connecting the AP directly to the switch port in question and bypassing the drop.
