Profile Refresh/Device Check-In Frequency

Hi Guys,

Is it possible to change the profile refresh frequency in Meraki SM?

I have an issue with Android Kiosk mode, Meraki is refreshing its policies very frequently, which means when I exit out of kiosk mode (with a passcode), it quickly goes back into kiosk mode - giving me very little time to do anything. The only way to turn off the kiosk mode is to remove it in settings for all devices, or remove the tag from the device that's enforcing the policy - not like iOS, where there's a button on the dashboard to quickly turn it off.

Any ideas?

Hi Brett,

Expected behavior is that Android kiosk mode will escape out for 15 minutes when the pincode is entered. There's currently a bug where device checkins aren't respecting that backoff duration, which engineering is working on.
